How Armstrong's promise to beat any quote for UNISA books from SA bookshops works

We’ve received a few questions asking how our promise to beat any quote from other
Bookshops works. Here’s a brief explanation which includes some terms and conditions.

What you need to do:

Search for prices of UNISA books from other bookshops.

If you find a particular title which is cheaper elsewhere, send this price to us by fax or email or visit one of the Armstrong’s Unisa Books store’s to tell us about it. Remember to include: the name of the book  and the name of the bookseller from where you received the quotation for the book.

What we’ll do:

1.       Once we receive the prices which you have gathered from other South African Unisa booksellers we will check these by visiting the relevant website.
2.       If we see that the prices from the other bookstores are cheaper than ours we will then beat these prices and send you a quotation via email or fax.
3.       If you bring a quotation to one of our branches we will check these while you wait (this should only take a few minutes). If we can confirm the prices you have given to us we will beat them there and then.

If you’re buying from us online:

1.       Complete  steps 1 & 2 above.
2.       Let us know that you would like to pay online.
3.       Register on our website and send us an email once you have registered.
4.       We will then reduce the price for you in accordance with our price beating policy.
5.       We’ll send you an email or call you once we have changed the price for you.

Terms and Conditions

1.       We only beat quotations which are less than two weeks old.
2.       We make every effort to ensure that all Unisa prescribed books are in stock. If, however, the title you require is not currently in stock we obviously can not beat the price of another Unisa book supplier.
3.       We do not beat the prices of publishers or overseas bookshops.
