As a small business we have a very limited advertising budget. We apologise for the poor quality of this advert for Armstrong's Unisa Books in advance. Unfortunately we could not afford to employ a copy writer to write this add nor could we hire a sound engineer, recording studio or voice over artist.
Also our budget would not extend to cover airtime on 702. So, to save money we decided to use our imagination to create the world's first visual radio ad. You're looking at it.
If, however, you would prefer to hear this advertisement please read it aloud. If you are feeling charitable and would like to help us spread the word about Armstrong's Unisa Books - an official Unisa bookseller that has supplied thousands of Unisa students with books since 1981 - please print a copy of this "Radio" add and read it aloud to as many people as possible. Otherwise, you could email this link to fellow Unisa students instructing them to read it aloud to themselves.
Armstrong's Unisa books thanks you for your support in this venture and looks forward to supplying you with your Unisa books for the 2012 academic year. To get a 10% discount on your 2012 Unisa books at Armstrong's Johannesburg branches follow us on Twitter (@armstrongsbooks) and retweet our link to this - the worlds first silent radio ad & worst radio advert ever. Terms and conditions Apply.
