Unisa Site Crash - Recent Research Suggests Link Between Site Crash and Limitation Of Vocabulary to the "F" Word

So it seems the UNISA site crashed just as tens of thousands students were attempting to submit their assignments.

As an official supplier of Unisa Books, Armstrong's (and this blog) the unofficial blog of Armstrong's need to be exceedingly diplomatic as to how it comments on some of the recent perceived short comings of Unisa. At the same time, however, this blog and I (the blogger) cannot ignore the deluge of negative press Unisa has recently received.

After all, as a blog dedicated to commenting on all matters UNISA that affect our customers (all of whom are Unisa Students)we can not ignore issues that have been mentioned in Newspapers (e.g. The photographer beating) or over the radio and Twitter (site crash & Unisa call centre issues.)

Today Twitter has been "atweet" with very negative comments regarding the website crash. This is understandable. What is interesting, and is a possible topic for academic research is the fact that there seems to be a direct correlation between the site crash and the sudden limitation of Tweeters vocabulary.

Many tweeters seem to have now limited their vocabulary to the "F" word. As the "F" word was a common theme among many tweets relating to the site crash and the persistent difficulty students are having in getting hold of Unisa - it was refreshing to find one Tweeter that did not resort to profanity to express the extent of his discontent.

What follows is a Tweet which could win the "golden beak prize" ( the Twitter equivalent to the Nobel prize for literature):

" I think it is easier to make contact with Aliens living on mars then it is to get hold of UNISA... #Frustration!!!"

Congrats Craig De la Rey
