Take Action Online - A call to action for UNISA students

The internet is full of people supporting causes, taking initiative etc. The majority of these are worthy. Life, being what it is however most of these fade into the background - especially when one is concerned with Unisa assignments and exams.

 The Mobilitate site is one which demands attention (and even a break from your Unisa studies) It has tapped into the concerns of many South Africans that have become angered by the complacency of Government and local municipalities.

 The purpose is of the site is as follows: "Mobilitate enables individuals to join communities, and enables those communities to organise, communicate and collaborate for:effective, transparent and accountable government a safe, crime free South Africa"

On the site you can raise support for issues affecting your local community (crime, potholes, lack of service delivery etc.) There is also a feature which tracks reported issues and indicates the ratio of those dealt with in comparison to those still needing attention.
