How To Celebrate Passing Your UNISA exams - Part 1

The ways in which you can celebrate passing your Unisa exams are limited only by your imagination (and budget)

Unfortunately not everybody is blessed with an active imagination. Likewise, few are blessed with a limitless budget.

Keeping the above in mind we thought we would take this opportunity to suggest to successful UNISA students a few ways in which they could choose to celebrate their success. Each of these ways will be referenced according to budget. For those that are severely constrained by budget - take heart sometimes the best things in life really are free.

1.  Go to London  - Budget Rating 10 (10= Expensive)

Nelson's Column is just one of the many sites you'll see if you chose to celebrate  passing  your  Unisa Exams by visiting London.

Samuel  Johnson said, "When you're tired of London you're tired of life". Sam was of course referring to the great diversity to be found in this ancient city. The one thing that is not too diverse in London is the weather - pack a rain coat.

things to do there:

1. Go to Madame Tussauds and have your photo taken with your favourite celebrity.
2. See Big Ben
3. See a West-End show.
4. See a premier league Football Game
5. Feed the Pigeons in Trafalgar Square

2. Eat Sushi For Dinner at Hokaido (JHB) - Grant Avenue in Norwood  - Budget Rating - 4

things to do there: Eat & Drink

Hokaido probably offers the best value for money in Johannesburg when it comes to Sushi. You can have the very popular all-you-can-eat special for R130.

3.  Braai a Banana   - Budget Rating - 0.5

A "Braaied Banana" or two - cooked in celebration of  completing your Unisa exams allows you to truly experience the sweet taste of success
Although very simple, a "braaied" banana - through its relative uniqueness seems inherently celebratory but is not as much of a cliche as the customary champagne. A "braaied" banana is the embodiment of the sweet taste of success.
